## Privacy policy — QR Code Generator for Multiple Tabs & Links The extension builds QR codes inside your browser. It has no server, no account, no analytics and no ads. **What is stored, only on your device:** - links you pin (and, for shortened links, the short address next to the original); - the theme, whether the icon opens the window on the page or the side panel, and the window's size and position; - for a moment only: the address of the tab the side panel was opened from, or the link or text you right-clicked, until the panel shows it. **What is sent outside your browser:** - Nothing during normal use. - Only when you press **Shorten link** on a long link is that one link sent to TinyURL (`https://tinyurl.com/`), a third-party service, to get a short link for the QR code. Before the first use the extension explains this, and Chrome asks you for access to `tinyurl.com`. You can revoke that access at any time in the extension's details. TinyURL's own privacy policy applies to that request. **What the extension can read:** - The address and title of a page only after you click the extension icon, press its shortcut, or use its right-click menu item on that page. For a right-click, also the link, image address or selected text you clicked. - If you turn on **Follow the active tab** in the side panel, Chrome asks you for access to your tabs. Then the side panel reads the address and title of the active tab to show its QR code. Turning the option off removes that access. - The extension does not read page contents beyond that, and does not keep a history of the pages you visit. **What is never collected:** personal data, browsing history, analytics, advertising identifiers. Nothing is sold or shared with the extension's authors or anyone else.
